This end-grain Hard Maple and Walnut board came in with years of deep knife marks, staining, and a rough surface. We flattened it on the drum sander, worked through progressive grits to remove every scratch, and finished with multiple coats of food-safe mineral oil. The result looks and performs like new — and will last another decade of daily use.
